We are pleased to invite you to the 17th International Competition of Young Pianists, which will be held in Niš from March 27 to March 31, 2026.

This event originated from the Yugoslav Competition of Young Pianists, founded in 1992 by professors of the piano department of the former “Dr Vojislav Vučković” School. Four years later, the competition became biennial, and since 2004 it has acquired an international character, attracting participants from various countries around the world.

To date, more than 10,000 young pianists from Serbia, Italy, Germany, Russia, the USA, Korea, China, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, and many other countries worldwide have participated in the competition. The professional jury consists of eminent pedagogues and professors from Serbia and abroad, whose evaluation of performances directly helps young pianists develop their artistic potential and enhance their performing skills.
