The Music School in Nis is the winner of the Saint Sava Award

Music School Niš is the winner of the Saint Sava Award for 2021. The Music School in Niš received this prestigious award for its overall contribution to the development of music education in the Republic of Serbia.

The Saint Sava Award has been presented to the most prominent individuals and institutions since 2002. This year, in addition to the Nis Music School, there were 34 winners, including pupils, students, educators, professors, faculties, and scientific institutes.

The Saint Sava Award was presented by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Branko Ružić to the school principal prof. Spomenki Špiric in the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

According to the words of the Minister of Education Branko Ružić, this year the Commission for Selection received a record number of applications, over 150, which made the task of selecting the best even more difficult.
